I chanced upon this worldcup blog which had Koreans leaving comments about the dirty match. As much as I feel upset about the match, I couldn't help but notice these comments.

I'm still pretty much depressed over Korea's shocking loss. I'm still in a stupefied state. I looked through the korean news and I cried again when I saw Chunie's pictures.

Though I felt like killing all those Swiss players and supporters when I saw this photo.

Plugging in: 대장금 OST - 오나라

Kei asked me out to watch She's The Man, which I nearly went if not for the Mother's early return from her facials. T_T She said I'm not supposed to leave the house T_T Luckily Sensei said she could teach me today, if not I could possibly start decomposing from boredom.

Today's cooking lesson was on Onigiri! Sensei emphasised the importance of washing the rice - the water HAS to be clear, not some murky swarm. I washed them for nth times; I lost count after 10. Chopping the ingredients were tiring again. Someone should come up with a machine that chops everything up for you the way you want them to be. -___-" Roasting the sesame was funny though. They just started popping out of the pan! One popped and landed on my nose. Another flew into my apron. It was all over the kitchen top! Watching the seeds pop was like watching a comical dance XD Sensei was ticked off though. She said I should have switch off the fire when it started popping. So as punishment, I had to clean up T_T Anyways, kneading the rice into balls was fun! As you all must know, Japanese rice is sticky. So when I tried kneading them together the first time, the rice refused to stick with one another and decided to glue themselves to my hands instead. Sensei amused herself, watching me struggle before telling me that I have to keep my hands wet. -___-" She has a sense of humour, I guess. And tada! My proud work of art!

Sensei said it looks pretty and I brightened up! But when she ate it, she shook her head and my face fell T_T She said I added too little ingredients inside, so there was too much rice T_T I will have to work hard to perfect them T_T

I want to grow my hair LONG. I want to dye my hair ULTRA BLACK, considering that the natural colour of my hair is brown. Luckily my hair's naturally straight too, if not I'll have to shell out more blings to get them rebonded. That would look so tacky anyway. After getting all those ticked and checked, in the dead of the night, I shall dress up in a white dress and scare everyone!

Teehee- I told that to Nax and he cracked up. But the Mother raised her eyebrows when I exuberantly expressed my idea, before sighing that the multiple ailments in my body has damaged brain cells. Well hey, try being stuck at home with absolutely nothing but stacks of DVDs, Xbox, and computer to entertain yourself. Maybe you'll start coming up with things like, how to eat noodles through your nose. Hmm, help, anyone?

WOW. Argentina owned Serbia-Montenegro. 6-0. WOW.

Anyways, after today, I vow never to look down on chefs anymore. Whoever knew that chopping carrots into finely-sliced pieces could be so tedious?! And chopping tiny cubes of cucumber for that matter too. I had my cooking lesson today. The dish I was going to prepare was chilled soba noodles. Let me see - I spent 1 damn hour slicing those freaking carrots. By then, my eyes were going haywire, and my legs were turning to jelly from the effort of freezing in one spot for so long. I pleaded with my Sensei to have a chair to sit while I continue chopping the stupid cucumbers. She relented, but not before she gave me a lecture on how good cooks wouldn't be doing things like, sitting on a chair while chopping ingredients. They get it done fast and quick, efficent. But hey, I never claim I'm Jamie Oliver neither. Or that "Yan can cook, so can you." guy. Anyways, guess how I took to chop those cucumbers into tiny cubes? 2 damn hours. I took 3 hours to chop those freaking ingredients up. But at least the results look good XD

I betted on the Ecuador vs Costa Rica match with Karen. Loser has to pay A$10 and run around somewhere half-naked. She chose Costa Rica, so I had no choice but to take Ecuador. Oh my god, please win, Ecuador.

And no Butter Factory for me -bawls- I WANTED TO GO SO MUCH T_T but Nax cheered me up. He said he'll buy me chocolate ice cream. And more chocolates! Hurray! I like Nax because he's the only guy so far to tell me not to go clubbing :)) He also said clubbing is bad, and not for girls like me! How sweet is that. Anyways, he asked me an intriguing question. Common, but very intriguing to me because I seldom think about it. "What kind of guys do you like?"

"What kind of guys do I like?" A good question indeed. I don't normally think about my criteria for guys, but his question set me thinking. However, I do have my criteria for the perfect girl XD

1. Very very fair skin colour.
2. Small, thin lips, mainly because I don't find thick lips sexy, since I have really small lips ^^"
3. The eyes. That is probably the most important feature in the face. I like soulful eyes. Nice, big eyes which talks. Eyes where you can see kindness, care and love.
6. Slender hands with long fingers
7. Prettiness [It's ok if she's average-looking. Because if she has a kind heart, she's already the most beautiful girl in my eyes.]
8. Non-smoker
9. Doesn't take drugs
10. Not involved in gangs
11. Absence of tattoos
12. No multiple piercings
13. Dislikes clubbing
14. Someone who loves children
15. Definitely not a girl who flirts around shamelessly.
16. Nor should she bitch about people.

Plugging in: 이선희 - 인연

I'm a pretty emotional and sentimental girl. I don't easily forget people who crossed my path and made an impact. Unless I have amnesia, or I get some brain haemorrhage. And so, a strong urge struck me to blog my feelings about this particular person whom I used to be real close to, and whom I had many wonderful times with together.

It's been so long since we last talk, and last met. Yet I've never forgotten you. I always think, what if I had handled the situation better that day? What if I had backed down? Maybe we could still be together now. We could still talk, still go out, and still have fun together. Though you had your faults, I'm sure in your eyes, I had too. But people aren't perfect, and we just accepted that it's part of our personality, part of us. Ultimately, it was those differences that drove us apart. But time heals all wounds. I have already long forgotten those anger. In fact, I can't even remember why we quarreled in the first place. Because of that one fight, we left each other and set off on our different paths of life. Though we chatted abit some time ago, it's obvious that we can't be as close as before. Maybe it's not an impossible task to be close again, I don't know. But right now, I feel contented to know that you are doing well. Whether or not if we will talk again, whether or not if we meet, it's enough for me to know that both of us has already put behind what happened. You have no idea how much I dreamt about the 2 of us patching up. Haha that sounded sick.

But truthfully, I really miss the good old days. I miss the fun and laughter. The craziness. The hugs and tears. Sad to say, those memories are only for treasuring now. Because, I can never re-live them anymore. They are long gone with the hands of the clock as they tick by, and as the winds of change breezed past us.

Anyways, Snow @ The Butter Factory is tomorrow. Dang! I really want to go! There's Ben & Jerry's ice cream! Sweets! Chocolates! And.... SNOW! I can't believe Play Projekts brought in a snow machine! How cool is that! I WANT TO GO!! But the Doctor said I can't. Because I'm sick. And I probably can't drink too. Where's the fun in going for a party when you can't drink T_T I haven't drank in ages. I used to drink with my dad once in a while, but I haven't drank a drop in months because I'm ALWAYS sick! No, that's not the point. The point is I want to go for Snow. But I can't. But I want to. All of you were part of the team that brought USA to the quarter-finals for the first time in decades in 2002! HOW CAN YOU ALL LET ME DOWN?! LOSING TO CZECH REPUBLIC?! 3 freaking goals. You let them take 3 freaking goals. No, it's all that Keller's fault. And the coach. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO FRIEDEL?! He was such a good goalkeeper T_T

And Japan lost to Australia. 3-1. At least Nakamura had the sense to take down 1 goal. Well, in any case, I'm glad Agoos didn't make the squad this year [USA I mean]. I can never forget his own goal -___-"

June and World Cup reminds me of 4 years ago when I was in melbourne. I ran home every night to watch ALL the matches, with a few of my friends. We'll choose different teams to support, and bludgeon each other when they lose. Teehee- those were the happy days. I still support USA, Korea and Turkey, but Turkey didn't even get in -___-" To think they won the 3rd place in Korea. I remember having an internal struggles when USA faced Korea, and when Turkey faced Korea. I want to go to melbourne now!

So in the end, I didn't go for my x-ray. ^^v I really didnt want to go alone. In any case, my parents will never find out, unless my doctor decides to call them. But she won't! Because she just took a break and went for a holiday with her family! Yeah! ^^v Anyways, to those who were concerned for me, sorry for not replying messages T_T I felt so lethargic; I was sleeping days away. Anyways, don't worry too much! It's not like I'm dying or I contracted some terminal disease. I think my body's just weak. Okay, very weak. Well, at least my sore throat's gone now, though I still can't go out. Doc said 6 weeks, maybe more. This is the end of the 2nd week. 4 more weeks to go T_T That means, no holiday for me. Dang. I was so looking forward to it :((

I visited my doc again today. I've got an astonishing array of medicine now.

My chest pains aren't fading. In fact, my chest hurts when I talk too hard, when I laugh and when I cough. Yes I'm still coughing. And I've got a new bruise on my temple. Plus, my blood pressure's low too. I'm having blackout spells everywhere. That nearly had me rolling down the stairs T_T Anyways, doc's sending me for an x-ray tomorrow. I'm kind of scared actually. Last time I had an x-ray was when I was 7. Complete with a broken bone. I was out for like, 2-3 months? I cried my eyes out in the room because they said my mom can't come in with me. This time round, none of my parents are even free to accompany me there T_T and I can't possibly cry because I'm 19! I'm not a 7 year old kid whose broken bone hurts like crap and cries because her momma isn't there to hold her hand anymore. Sighs- I wish I'm 7.

Battle of the Year Singapore is taking place at Cineleisure on 16th - 18th June. Finally Singapore is going to be represented at Battle of the Year [Southeast Asia], which is going to be held at Bangkok again. Sighs- Things are looking fantastic there though. They have so many competitions lined up.

June 18 - 1st regional contest at AUA, Bangkok
June 24 - 2nd regional contest at The Mall, Nakornrajasima [where the hell is that anyway.]
July 1 - 3rd regional contest at Diana, Hadyai
July 8 - 4th regional contest at Central Airport, Chiangmai
August 5 - Battle of the Year Thailand 2006 at Siam Paragon, Bangkok
August 26 - Battle of the Year Southeast Asia 2006 at Siam Paragon, Bangkok

All those dates suck. They span a freaking long time of 3 months. Even if I manage to stay in Bangkok during the month of June, I can't possibly stay on for 2 more months! School probably starts then T_T or I could skip school again. No, I can't. It's mugging time after holidays. But I wanna check out Siam Paragon. Nax was telling me that a shirt there costs like 10,000 baht. No idea how much that is in dollars, but 10,000 does sound like alot, in dollars term ^^" Anyways, Nax is this new Thai guy I met. I'm so amazed by him. He doesn't fit into any of the categories I put out for Thai guys. He is probably the ONLY Thai guy who DOESN'T -

Number 1 - smoke
Number 2 - club
Number 3 - do drugs
Number 4 - join gangs
Number 5 - drink heavily

And he's not a playboy. He has a tiny tattoo, and doesn't dream of etching those horribly big ugly tattoos on his back/chest/arms/legs/whatever. I'm so impressed. Are you sure he's Thai??
